Time Management for Work at Home Christian Moms

Most likely you are very busy and find yourself dashing from one committment or task to the next. How well you manage your time, including your choice to put first things first is a key factor in how well you do in business.

With a home based business it it harder to keep everything going. You are a volunteer army and noone is going to push you to get things done. You have to discipline yourself.

Here are a few tips:

1) Cut the fat out! Of your schedule that is. This means cutting out couch potato time and other time wasting activities and putting that time toward your business. Your business will need 10 hours each week, plus training time- anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar.

2) Schedule productive business time. By this I do not mean surfing the net, answering emails, listening to training calls. 80% of your time must be spent in income producing activities. So that means if you are in direct sales or network marketing 80% (or 8 hours minimum) each week is going to be on the phone or in person with prospective team partners or customers. 3) Mutli-task. Listen to training material while you are doing chores, driving your car, or answering email.

4) Train your children to take over some of the chores.

5) Schedule your family time and do not let business interfer with family time. Don't talk endlessly about your business when yo0u are with your family. Likewise, keep conversations with prospects linited to times when you can fully focus on them without interuption.
