Top Network Marketing Businesses

Our home based business journey started 19 years ago with an organic lawn care business. We ran the office out of our home. When the kids came, we wanted something simpler, so we hung up the mower, so to speak. We ventured into the world of network marketing and direct sales. Tried several companies with a few moderate successes. We've found some that are fantastic and have taken off.

We do believe in multiple streams of income. Currently we have real estate and own several income producing rental properties. We also build websites and generate income through them and from flipping some of them- this is known in the industry as "VRE" or Virtual Real Estate. And then there is affiliate income. We also are currently involved with network marketing and direct sales.

We don't believe in starting more than one network marketing business at a time-it is just too hard to focus. It worked out for us like this. Like many people, we tried several direct sales companies looking for the right fit. We found a few that had awesome products, but the business wasn't the right fit for our homeschooling lifestyle.

We still use some of these products today, but what we were really looking for was a home travel business that met our criteria. We looked for seven years and didn't find anything we liked. Then this year we partnered with a 20 year old travel company that decided to open a home division. That company is Traverus and has really taken off - fast! This is a business that we work together- both booking travel and in team building.

So, how have we done this and still kept it all together? First, we didn't start it all at the same time!!! Second, we partnered with the best company and a top team with an incredible training system.
We scoped out the company and team for almost a year before we decided to recommend them to anyone. It is our strong belief that we would not recommend something unless it was a solid and good deal.

So where would you start? We recommend starting with something you are passionate about. Find something that apeals to you, but is also a solid, growing business. We chose travel because a) it is something we love to do and wanted to do more of at a discount, and b) it really fits into a homeschooling lifestyle.
